Mr. Hesch's Personal Convictions and Qualities
Joel Hesch has strong convictions and values.
Mr. Hesch believes in family. He has been happily married since 1988.
Mr. Hesch believes in serving the community. For over ten years, he and his wife initiated and hosted neighborhood outreach events. For instance, three times a year they provided special events at Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving for dozens of children in their neighborhood.
Mr. Hesch believes in serving the world. He traveled four times to rural India to build water wells, medical clinics, schools and playgrounds for disadvantaged communities and provide training. The first trip was just three weeks after "911".
Mr. Hesch believes in conducting pro-bono activities. Mr. Hesch received numerous awards for his pro bono work while at DOJ, including a Presidential Point of Light award. He received voluntary services awards from the following United States Attorney Generals: John Ashcroft, Dick Thornburgh, William Barr, and Janet Reno. Mr. Hesch also provides several non-profit organizations with legal help. He also received pro bono awards from the state bar association.
Mr. Hesch believes in treating people with respect and value. Mr. Hesch lives by his stated values and treats others as he would like to be treated. He is dedicated to serving others.
